Il culto dei Palici è il più noto e il meglio documentato tra i culti indigeni della Sicilia antica. Il giuramento ordalico che vi si praticava resta famoso fino alla tarda antichità e consente di seguire, attraverso il filtro di un caso ben delineato, le trasformazioni culturali nella Sicilia antica, dalla colonizzazione fino all'età romana, mettendo in rilievo le pratiche di appropriazione ideologica e la elaborazione di nuovi codici culturali.

Aim of this paper was identify accessions of pomegranate with high anthocyanins and polyphenols content and correlate their values with antioxidant activity. Anthocyanin’s profile was determined by HPLC-DAD. Antioxidant activity was measured by fluorimetric assay and expressed by ORAC value. Results obtained was correlated and analyzed to find best accession.
